Rotary
We have the support of the following Rotary Clubs and members:
David Mander, the Environment Officer of the Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast. As Environment Officer, David is a member of their Community and Vocational group which is involved with supporting charitable youth and environmental projects to help make a difference to the people in our local as well as the wider community. This year projects have included working with Knowle Media Centre to sponsor young people to have an activity holiday of a lifetime and supporting Kenyan schools to manufacture an alternative fuel in the form of Briquettes made from waste to replace charcoal. This helps stop burning of woodland and therefore slows down deforestation of the country.
Simon Little is the Vice President of the Rotary Club of Bristol Sundown. This year the club has been supporting the charity Alive which helps to engage with and provide entertainment to the elderly in old peoples homes. Simon is supporting the food areas of the Your Green Future event.
