Spinnaker Associates is a career development organisation which brings together an association of professionals who promote sustainable development and the role of work within this worldview. Nicola Jones, also a director of Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems, was drawn to supporting Your Green Future because of her experience of sustainable development, knowledge of what employers are looking for in terms of attitude and mindset as well as skills and concern about the future of the workplace and our next generation's preparedness.
‘We either live in the world presented to us or learn how we can actively shape our future. Our next generation have to be helped to enter the work place with awareness of what matters to them and their society and with the ability, with others, to do work or develop careers which is in line with what matters to them. Anything less is not sustainable.’
