Ian Curtis

Ian Curtis

Ian Curtis spends his days at Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute, a leader in international environmental education. Before this, a professional cricketer, a management consultant, an Oxfam worker.  At night he plays with Oxfordshire ClimateXchange, an experiment in “climate buzz”, recently quoted as the example on informing local opinion in the America’s Climate Choices report to the US Congress. Oxfordshire has one of the UK’s highest concentrations of green community groups and environmental resources. Ian believes “Local Utd” offers a goldmine of innovation, across high and low tec solutions. His public profile peaked in NME, Page 3, and the Nine O'clock News many years ago.
