1. If your school cancels up to 28 days prior to the event, we reserve the right to charge a £150 cancellation charge.
This helps to avoid schools pulling out at late notice, depriving other schools of valuable places. All of our events book up extremely quickly and we always have a waiting list of additional schools wishing to take part. However, schools find it difficult to take up spaces that become available with less than 28 days’ notice due to the logistics of arranging permissions, cover and transportation.
2. We ask attending teachers to remain with one of their groups of students in the workshops to help maintain a good standard of behaviour.
Whilst the facilitators of the workshops possess good behaviour management techniques, many of the participating businesses are not used to engaging with this age group and it would be unfair of us to expect them to be responsible for classroom control, as they are giving up their time free of charge. If student behaviour falls below the standard expected and reminders of good behaviour are not adhered to, we reserve the right to respectfully request schools leave the event in the interests of students and staff from other schools.
3. Participating students and staff may be filmed and / or photographed during the event.
Should any members of your group object, or fail to possess the required permissions, please ensure you let us know either in advance or upon arrival at the event.
4. Please ensure all staff attending the event are familiar with the risk assessment provided.
This is in order to help ensure the safety of all participants.
