The development team works closely with Severn Wye Energy Agency to develop the events content, notably creating and facilitating the workshops. Together they have international and UK experience including programme development and implementation, teaching, facilitating learning with teachers and students, and material and methodological development.
The STEM Ambassador Programme is a national, government funded scheme enabling volunteers from Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths backgrounds, to share their expertise and enthusiasm with students. Regional Local Contract Holders liaise with teachers to help link ambassadors’ job roles to relevant areas of the curriculum, illuminating applications of STEM across a vast range of careers.
STEM Ambassadors are people from STEM backgrounds who volunteer as inspiring role models for young people. They can contribute both to regular lessons or participate in extra-curricular activities such as STEM Clubs, Careers Days and visits. STEM Ambassadors open the door to a whole new world for young people, helping them to see STEM subjects and careers with a fresh perspective and engage their interest and imagination in new ways.

Just Idea’s works with a range of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations and the public sector, supporting them in a range of activities promoting environmental sustainability, social justice and increasing participation.
Director, Helen Garforth, is a highly experienced facilitator, trainer, researcher and communicator with proven enthusiasm and talent for raising awareness of local, national and global sustainable development issues and motivating for change. She works with groups ranging from children to adults, grass roots community groups to international agencies, schools, local authorities, businesses – people from all backgrounds. Her experience includes being Director of a national and international development education programme, facilitating a global youth action group, international partnership co-ordination, being a trustee on the boards of the Development Education Association, being a school governor, andsetting up Just Ideas.
InterClimate Network (ICN) mobilises the energy and creativity of young people, inspiring them to become active citizens and leaders in sustainable, low carbon, economic development. ICN implements dynamic programmes, notably Model Climate Conference's, which are modelled on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and enthuse and challenge students to think about the national and international implications of climate change.
